Richmond has named its squad of 26 players ahead of Sunday’s match against Collingwood at the MCG.

The Tigers will consider up to six inclusions for the clash with Daniel Rioli, Toby Nankervis, Rhyan Mansell, Will Martyn, Matthew Parker and Sydney Stack added to the team that lost to Gold Coast last Thursday night.

Shane Edwards (ankle), Bachar Houli (ankle), and Callum Coleman-Jones (calf) will all miss the game through injury.

Parker, the Tigers’ mid-season recruit, who managed 19 games across two seasons at St Kilda, could be in line to make his Richmond debut after a strong showing at VFL level on Saturday.

Parker had a team-high 31 disposals and 11 tackles in what was his best performance since joining the Club in June.

Stack (29 disposals), Martyn (27 and seven tackles), Mansell, and Rioli (both 26 disposals) have also been rewarded for strong games at the lower level.

Dreamtime Guernsey to return to the 'G

To celebrate NAIDOC week and the 10th anniversary of the Korin Gamadji Institute, Richmond will wear its Dreamtime guernsey on the MCG for the first time since 2019 when the Club hosts Collingwood this Sunday at 4.10pm.

It is the first time this season that Stack has been included in the Tigers’ squad, and a senior call-up would make for his first appearance at the level since Round 13 last year.

In a huge addition, triple premiership-winning tall Toby Nankervis has been named in the ruck for the important clash.

Nankervis has not played the last four matches after suffering a knee injury in the 28-point win over Adelaide in Sydney.

Richmond will finalise its starting 22 following tomorrow’s main training session with the team to be announced publicly at 5pm.

The contest will be triple premiership defender Dave Astbury’s 150-match at AFL level.
