Adem Yze
Senior Coach
Adem Yze’s growth as Senior Coach in 2025 was undeniable, as he helped guide the young Tigers to five wins, building belief and excitement amongst the group.
In just his second season at the helm, the former Hawthorn and Melbourne assistant, who played 271 games for the Demons, was able to blood eight new debutants, seven of which came from the highly anticipated 2024 draft class. Yze has often referred to telling players they’re debuting the best part of his job, and given Richmond has access to another two first-round picks in the 2025 draft, expect more exciting young prospects to come through the doors at the Swinburne Centre.
Along with the debutants, Yze’s senior core played an invaluable role in 2025, serving as on-field leaders and standard setters. Nick Vlastuin earned an All-Australian Squad selection, while Tim Taranto enjoyed a career-best 20 Brownlow Medal votes, as Yze’s mix of youth and experience is sure to excite the Tiger Army.
After a baptism of fire in 2024, Yze built and established strong connection and foundations within the Swinburne Centre in 2025, which promises a bright future for Richmond.
