Assistant Coach - Forwards

Richmond great Chris Newman is set to return for his third season as Assistant Coach and Forward Line Coach at the Swinburne Centre. Newman played 268 games for the Tigers between 2002 and 2015, further captaining the Club from 2009 to 2012. Post Newman’s playing career, he spent eight years at the Hawthorn Football Club, where he fulfilled numerous roles, including Development and Assistant Coach. He reunited with his former colleague and opponent, Adem Yze, to join Richmond’s coaching ranks before the start of the 2024 season. The experienced player turned coach resumes his work with the side’s young and exciting forward line in 2026.
