Richmond excitement machine Shai Bolton’s AFL career-best year in 2022 is underlined through a comprehensive statistical analysis of the Club’s playing group for the season.

Bolton featured 15 times in the top five of 21 specific categories (twice as No. 1), topping the Tigers’ 2022 stats stars list.

Jayden Short, who alternated throughout the season from his customary rebounding role in defence to the midfield, finished in second place, appearing 12 times.

The 2020 Jack Dyer Medallist was ranked No. 1 in the most categories by any Richmond player with five.

Gun midfielder Dion Prestia finished in third place on the stats stars list. He had 11 top-five placings (five as No. 1).
