Richmond VFL's 2024 fixture has launched.

All of the Tigers' match-ups for the season were confirmed by the AFL on Tuesday afternoon, with game details revealed for the opening 13 rounds.

As announced last Friday, Richmond's 2024 campaign begins with a trip north to face Gold Coast at Heritage Bank Stadium on Saturday, March 23, its sole interstate trip of the home and away season.

The Tigers will play their first home game of the 21-round season against Sydney on Sunday, March 31 at the Swinburne Centre, prior to the AFL clash between the two sides at the MCG.

The Dreamtime at the 'G double header on Saturday, May 25 is a highlight of the upcoming season, with the Tigers to take on Essendon in a curtain raiser at the MCG from 2.35pm.

Curtain raisers at the Swinburne Centre throughout 2024 include Round 5 vs Casey on Wednesday, April 24, ahead of the annual Anzac Eve clash between Richmond and Melbourne, Round 7 vs Footscray on Sunday, May 12, and Round 12 against Hawthorn on Saturday, June 15.

The Tigers will head down the highway on Saturday, June 1 to face Geelong at GMHBA Stadium in Round 10, another double header for fans.

Richmond is locked in to play seven home games at the Swinburne Centre in 2024 and one home game at the MCG, and will play AFL-aligned opponents on the same weekend nine times during the season.

The team's first of three byes will arrive in Round 4, with further byes in Rounds 13 and 19.

There will be a two-week break between Rounds 2 and 3, as the fierce rivalry between the VFL and SANFL resumes in 2024 with a men's representative match to be played in Adelaide during the AFL Gather Round weekend.

The best VFL-listed players from the 21-team competition will be selected to represent the ‘Big V’ in the VFL’s first representative match in seven years.
