Tim Taranto's magical boundary line snap during Dreamtime at the 'G has won the AFL's Round 11 Goal of the Week.

During Richmond's clash with Essendon on Friday night, Taranto opened the game perfectly, with a goal even he couldn't believe sailed through the middle.

Early in the opening term, the midfielder crumbed a kick that was brought to ground by Steely Green, throwing the ball on his right boot as he trickled out of bounds, left in disbelief as teammates rushed to celebrate the unlikely major.

His goal has now gone into the running to win the major prize at season's end.

Richmond head to ENGIE Stadium to take on GWS in Round 12, this Saturday.
