Richmond's extended squad for Sunday's clash with the Western Bulldogs has been locked in.
In a major boost, defender Beth Lynch has been included after recovering from the shoulder injury that saw her miss last week's season opener against Sydney.
Lynch was elevated to the leadership group this season, having been a revelation since returning to the Swinburne Centre, where she had previously been a VFLW player.
The hard-working defender won her way onto Richmond’s list as a replacement player on the eve of the 2022 AFLW season and has featured in 43 out of 44 senior games since, remarkably sitting 6th on the Club’s all-time games list despite being at North Melbourne for Richmond’s first two seasons in the competition.
Lynch is a vocal leader and reliable teammate who was voted the teams ‘Players’ Player’ last season.
Joining Lynch on the inclusions list is Sierra Grieves, Lauren Brazzale and Charli Wicksteed, with that trio named on the extended interchange bench.
Ally Dallaway (omitted) comes out of the extended squad.
