Libby Graham has been crowned Richmond's Best Defensive Player for 2025, thanks to her unwavering pressure and attack on the ball.

Graham showcased her ability to read the play and take leaping intercept marks across the halfback line, averaging 4.8 interceptions per game – the third highest in the team.

A leader among the back-six, Graham stood tall in the 11-point win over Adelaide, limiting the impact of Crow forwards, while recording 12 disposals, four marks, eight intercepts and 122 meters gained.

The lockdown defender featured in all 12 of Richmond’s matches this season, enjoying a career-best campaign, averaging nine disposals with 139 meters gained.

Graham set the tone for her team time and time again this year, throwing herself into contests and refusing to give up on the play. Her relentless commitment and impact make her a deserving recipient of the Best Defensive Player Award.

She also notched up her 50th AFLW game in season 2025, after playing for the Giants and Tigers in her career.
