Richmond will field a strong team in Saturday's VFL practice match against the Casey Demons at Casey Fields.
It will be the third of four practice games for Jack Madgen's side before Round 1, with a host of VFL stars set to face the Demons, including Harry Scott, Lachlan Street, Mutaz El Nour and others. Plenty of new signings will also be on display, including Sam Philp, Olli Hotton, Aaron Sharkie and more.
AFL-listed players Luke Trainor, Zane Peucker, Noah Roberts-Thomson, Jasper Alger, Patrick Retschko, Liam Fawcett and Kaleb Smith have been named, alongside train-on players Boston Dowling and Tom Burton.
Tigers' ruckman Oliver Hayes-Brown will miss the match due to a minor patella tendon issue.
The game will be live streamed on the Richmond website and app from 11am AEDT on Saturday, and presents another chance for the Tigers to get game time under their belts before the home-and-away season begins on Saturday, March 21, when Richmond faces last year’s Grand Finalists, Southport.
