Campbell Gray

High Performance Manager Ben Serpell has provided an update on Richmond's injury list ahead of Friday night's Dreamtime at the 'G clash.

Serpell confirmed a large group of players are on track to return to play after the bye, including skipper Toby Nankervis.

"We've got a big group of guys becoming available for selection soon after the bye. There’s about four guys who should be available for selection leading into our game against Brisbane in Tasmania," Serpell said.

"That includes Taj Hotton, Toby Nankervis, Hugo Ralphsmith and Zane Peucker."

Mykelti Lefau: Managed, Available

"As [Adem] Yze said, we were conscious of him playing two games in five days. There was an opportunity to rest him last week. We expect him to be back and available for selection this week," Serpell said.

Campbell Gray: Hamstring, TBC

"It was unfortunate for Campbell. Scans revealed a high-grade hamstring strain for him. We will work through that over the next couple of weeks and update his return-to-play guidelines after that," Serpell said.

Jasper Alger: MCL, Test
Tom Sims: Foot, Test

"Tom Sims and Jasper Alger have got to get through one more training session, then we can confidently say they're available for selection," Serpell said.

10:04

Sam Banks: Collarbone, Round 12
Tom Brown: Forearm, Round 14 to 15

"Both are doing really well, both have been cleared by their surgeons to resume training in the not too distant future," Serpell said.

"We'll see Banksy increase his contact load over the next week and be available for selection in one week's time against Sydney."

Maurice Rioli: Hamstring, Round 12

"Maurice is going really well. We said last week that he'd be available around Round 11 to 12, and hinted he'd be closer to Round 12, and I'd say that's the case. We'd not expect him to play this week, but hopefully available for selection next weekend," Serpell said.

10:45

Judson Clarke: ACL, Round 15-18

"We're expecting him to return to full training next week, if not this week. We want to see him do around four weeks of that, before he's available for selection," Serpell said.

"We'd expect him in soon after that group of guys against Brisbane, hopefully playing one week after the bye, against North Melbourne in Round 15."

Kane McAuliffe: Achilles, TBC

"Kane is due to start running at the back end of this week. Once he starts doing that, we'll be able to give a bit more of an indication on what his return-to-play looks like," Serpell said.

Sam Lalor, Achilles, Round 16-18

"Sammy's doing exceptionally well. We expect him to return to running no later than four weeks after his initial injury. From there, we'll be able to give you some updates on his return-to-play time," Serpell said.
