Dual Richmond premiership coach Damien Hardwick is scheduled to break Club ‘Immortal’ Tommy Hafey’s record for the most games coached in Tigerland’s history in Round 18 of the 2020 season.

The Tigers play Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium in that round on Saturday, July 18 (an afternoon fixture).

Hardwick has guided Richmond in 231 games since taking over the coaching reins at the Club a decade ago.

He will equal Hafey’s coaching record in the Tigers’ blockbuster Friday night, Round 17, 2020 clash with Collingwood at the MCG.

Hafey coached Richmond in 248 games from 1966-76, winning four premierships along the way – in 1967, 1969, 1973 and 1974.
