Richmond has advised AFLW player Paige Scott that they will not be offered a contract for the 2027 AFLW season.

Scott played 15 games for Richmond across the past two seasons, booting five goals.

The small forward missed the first half of this season through injury, before adding three senior games.

Scott was selected by Richmond with pick No. 31 in the 2024 AFLW Draft, having previously played 28 games with Essendon.

Richmond AFLW List and Recruiting Manager Trent Mosbey thanked Scott for their efforts over the past two years.

“On behalf of the Club, we thank ‘Scotty’ for their two years in yellow and black,” he said.

“Unfortunately, injury interrupted Scotty’s second season for us, but we are grateful for their efforts and wish them well for the future.”

Scott’s departure follows that of Sarah Hosking and Kate Dempsey (retired).

The AFLW Sign and Trade will commence in December.
