This Sunday, the Richmond Football Club will pay tribute to its loyal Tiger Army, dedicating Round 23 to the 103,358 members who have supported the Tigers in 2019.

Richmond faces the top-of-the-table Brisbane Lions in a crucial final round of the home and away season, and is calling on the incredible strength of the Tiger Army to fill the MCG.

THANK YOU Join us at Sunday's Round 23 'Thank you Tiger Army' match against the Brisbane Lions

The Tiger Army rallied to the ‘G last weekend to create a cauldron-like atmosphere as it cheered Richmond on to an eighth consecutive victory.

And we’re hoping for a similar effect this Sunday, as we celebrate Richmond’s members and showcase the incredible contribution they’ve made in 2019.

There’ll be plenty on offer, including 'Before the Pounce' at the Swinburne Centre, 'Club Hub' at the MCG, activations, giveaways and special promotions at the Tigerland Superstore.

In May, Richmond eclipsed its all-time membership record of 101,433 set in 2018, and remains the only AFL Club to have 100,000 members.

The Tigers will be vying to surpass their record crowd at the MCG against an interstate team, which currently stands at 58,721 from Round 13, 2017 against Sydney.

A sizeable crowd would also see Richmond keep its spot atop of the AFL average home crowd attendance rankings.

For the Lions, they’ll be looking to break their record home and away crowd of 61,868, which was recorded when they played Collingwood in Round 19, 2003.

Sunday’s match is proudly presented by United Petroleum, proud sponsor of the Richmond Football Club. Thanks to the United fuel discount card offered, Richmond members have saved over $100,000 since partnering with the Australian-owned fuel retailer.

Thank you to our 2019 members for their ongoing support this season, we can’t wait to see you at the ‘G this Sunday.
