Richmond has added a further three players to its AFLW list for 2020 with Phoebe Monahan, Iilish Ross and Maddy Brancatisano committing to the Club.

Monahan, 25, returns to Richmond after spending 2018 in the Club's VFLW program, where she finished third in the best and fairest.

The tenacious midfielder/defender played 10 of a possible 14 AFLW games at GWS after being taken at pick 39 in the 2017 AFL Women’s Draft.

Ross, a left-footed rebounding defender, who was taken at pick 13 in the same Draft, impressed in her two seasons at Collingwood, playing 11 games.

The 19-year-old Albury-Wodonga product will be joined at the Swinburne Centre by another emerging player in Brancatisano.

Brancatisano, 18, is highly rated at Richmond, where she caught the eye of recruiters with a standout 2018 TAC Cup campaign, captaining the Northern Knights.

The pacey and creative midfielder was selected by Melbourne with selection 15 in last year’s AFLW Draft.

Richmond Head of Women’s Football, Kate Sheahan, said all three players will be a big part of the Club’s future.

“We are delighted to bring Phoebe, Iilish and Maddy to Richmond,” she said.

“Each player fits the culture and program that we’re building here, and I cannot wait to see them playing in the Yellow and Black.

“It’s very pleasing to now have four players on our list for 2020 and we hope to share more exciting news with our fans in the coming days.”

The trio joins Richmond’s first AFLW player, Katie Brennan who signed with the Club earlier this week.
