Respected former AFL coach Ross Lyon has paid Dustin Martin the ultimate compliment in a football sense.

In his new role with Triple M Footy, here’s what Lyon had to say about the Richmond superstar . . .

“Dustin’s clearly the best player in the competition . . . impact on games, hitting the scoreboard, consistency. And a game plan revolves around him in a sense.

“They’re (Richmond) doing a lot else right, but they’ve got him in that role where he flips forward and (Kane) Lambert comes up and takes his man . . .

“He’s pretty special and he’s performed in the big games.

“Dustin just keeps delivering.”
