Dynamic Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin shared best afield honors with Sydney superstar Lance Franklin in the AFL Coaches Association’s Round 14 voting.

Respective coaches Damien Hardwick (Richmond) and John Longmire (Sydney) awarded Martin nine votes (the same as Franklin) for his excellent four-quarter display in the Tigers’ 11-point loss to the Swans at the MCG last Friday night.

Martin finished with an equal career-high 36 disposals, which included an equal team-high 12 contested possessions, an equal team-high five clearances, and five rebound-50s.

The other Richmond players to receives coaches votes on the night were captain Trent Cotchin (two), Brandon Ellis (two) and Alex Rance (one).
