Dustin Martin’s match-sealer against Carlton has been voted the fourth best goal of the year by Richmond fans.

The Tigers were leading by six points with less than a minute remaining in a tense final quarter in Round 2, when Nathan Foley gathered a loose ball on the wing and handballed to the running Matt Thomas.

Thomas launched the ball forward to the only two men within 70 metres of goal – Martin and Blues’ defender Zach Tuohy.

Martin got the better of the one-on-one contest, before swinging around and dribbling the ball through, to ice the game for Richmond.

The number three goal of the year, as voted by Tiger fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Wednesday September 24.
