Richmond fans can update their wardrobe by donating their ‘Sash and Treasure’ - pre-loved Yellow and Black guernsey - in exchange for a Tigerland Superstore discount voucher.

The donated guernsey will be given to disadvantaged children in communities of Alice Springs and Mumbai, India.

Each person who donates their Sash and Treasure will receive a voucher for 20% off a Richmond guernsey at the Tigerland Superstore, which is located at the ME Bank Centre, Punt Road Oval.

The Club will have designated collection bins to receive the guernseys at the MCG for the Round 20 match against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday, August 12, and again during the Round 22 clash with Essendon at the MCG on Friday, August 24.

For those supporters who can’t make it to the games, donated guernseys can be dropped directly at the Tigerland Superstore.

As the garments will be re-used, the Club requests that only guernseys are donated, which are clean and in good enough condition to be worn again.

Sash and Treasure is a community initiative of the Club, with the children in Alice Springs part of the Outback Tigers program, which encourages school attendance.

A portion of the donations will also go all the way to Mumbai, to a group of children who have recently been introduced to AFL football, through a program run by RecLink Australia that aims to increase community engagement.
