1. Tough nut to crack

Under first-year coach, Justin Longmuir, Fremantle have been one of the stingiest defences in the AFL, only giving up 53 points a game, which is number two in the AFL. Luke Ryan has been in All-Australian form for the Dockers, averaging elite numbers with 13 effective kicks, 8 intercept possessions and 417 metres gained per game. Ryan is not only stopping opposition attacks, but setting up attacks for his team.

2. Business End, Business Captain

Having been in and out with injury throughout the season, Richmond skipper Trent Cotchin, is hitting excellent form as we get to the pointy end of the season. Cotchin’s ferocity at the contest was crucial in the Tigers' 27-point win over West Coast with 26 disposals, 15 of those contested, and six inside 50s, in a best on ground display.

3. Home Away from Home

The Tigers have six wins from six appearances in the Sunshine State so far in 2020, making new homes for themselves at Metricon Stadium and the Gabba. The playing group have also thrived on the support of the Queensland fans, who in true Tiger Army fashion, are making noise greater than their numbers.
