Richmond received more than 100 pre-loved guernseys from ‘Sash and Treasure’, a recent community initiative conducted during Rounds 20 and 22.
Richmond received more than 100 pre-loved guernseys from ‘Sash and Treasure’, a recent community initiative conducted during Rounds 20 and 22.
Tiger fans generously donated their pre-loved Richmond guernseys in exchange for a 20% voucher off a new guernsey at the Tigerland Superstore.
The donations will be distributed to children living in disadvantaged communities of Alice Springs and Mumbai, India.
Lincoln Harris, who operates an AFL program in Mumbai, dropped into the ME Bank Centre at Punt Road Oval to receive 50 guernseys to take back to India.
The guernseys, which are in great condition, will be given to Indian children to wear during their football sessions, and will no doubt result in more international Richmond supporters.
The remaining guernseys will be sent to communities in Alice Springs, where the Club operates the Outback Tigers program, which encourages school attendance throughout the area.
The Club wishes to thank supporters who donated their guernseys to Sash and Treasure; your donations will no doubt be very appreciated by the children in Alice Springs and Mumbai.
