The 25-year-old has unfortunately been cruelled by knee injuries since joining the Club, with an ACL rupture in pre-season ending her 2024 campaign before it even begun and re-occurring in just her second AFLW game last year.
McKinnon who won two premierships at SANFLW level before being drafted has impressed as an athletic ruck when given the opportunity at AFLW level. She had knee surgery in September last year meaning she will not feature early in the 2026 season.
