Richmond will continue the 50-year celebrations of its famous 1973 premiership win by dedicating the Round 14 fixture against St Kilda as Retro Round.

As part of the initiative, the Club encourages fans to step back to the 70s by wearing their best retrofit, a nod to a golden year for the Tiger Army.

Fans can also purchase a special 1-game membership to help get to the game and remember the good ol’ days.

Retro Round will feature two Richmond Hall of Fame inductions at the Hafey Dining function. Located within the glass-fronted Olympic Room, Richmond will formally recognise individuals who have been nominated and approved by the History and Tradition committee and Richmond Board.

The Round 14 clash against the Saints is set to be played on Saturday, June 17, with the opening bounce at 7.25pm.

Richmond played St Kilda on three occasions in 1973, claiming three victories, including a 40-point win in the Semi-Final.

The 1973 team gathered as part of an official reunion at last week’s game against the Eagles.

Tickets to witness history are available via Strong and Bold Hospitality here.
