Two Tiger changes for Power clash

Richmond has made two changes to its line-up for Friday night’s big Round 12 match against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Livewire premiership forward Jason Castagna returns after missing the past two matches because of a minor knee injury, while tenacious, ‘ball-magnet’ midfielder Anthony Miles comes in for his first senior game since Round 20 last year.

They replace superstar midfielder Dustin Martin, who is out with a minor calf complaint and young on-baller Jack Graham, who has been omitted.

Miles’ recall to senior action comes on the back of superb form at VFL level this season.

He produced his best performance of the year against Collingwood at Victoria Park last Sunday – 44 disposals, 12 clearances, 14 handball receives, 11 marks and three goals.

The Tigers’ VFL coach Craig McRae, in his weekly player report on richmondfc.com.au, had this to say about Miles: “Continued his stellar form at VFL level. High possessions again playing multiple roles, including inside ‘mid’ . . . clearly he’s in great form.”

Richmond’s four emergencies for tomorrow night’s clash with the Power, are Graham, Corey Ellis, Ryan Garthwaite and Ivan Soldo.
