Star Richmond playmaker Shane Edwards has moved past Tigers Team of the Century member Kevin Sheedy on the Club’s all-time games’ list.

Edwards played the 252nd game of his AFL career with Richmond in last Sunday’s final home-and-away round match of season 2019 against Brisbane, which puts him one ahead of Sheedy on 251.

It also means he has now taken the record from Sheedy for the most games played in the No. 10 guernsey at Tigerland.

The 30-year-old, who was such a pivotal member of Richmond’s drought-breaking 2017 premiership side, has jumped six Tiger greats on the Club’s games’ list throughout this season – Mark Lee (233), Merv Keane (238), Brett Deledio (243), Brendon Gale (244), Roger Dean (245) and Sheedy (251).
