Round 15: Three goals for Lynch
Tom Lynch has a great night out with three goals
After two premierships in his first two seasons with the Tigers, last year was not as rewarding for Lynch.
Individually, his output was stronger than 2020 with 35 goals (1.9 a game) and 87 marks (4.8 a game).
However, he was restricted by a troublesome right knee which required surgery to repair a torn cartilage, forcing him to miss five matches.
The former Gold Coast forward remains tied to the Tigers until 2025 after his initial seven-year deal.
Is set to tick off 200 games early in 2022.
Honours: Gold Coast best and fairest 2015, 2016; Gold Coast 2nd best and fairest 2014; All-Australian 2016; Gold Coast leading goalkicker 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017; Richmond leading goalkicker 2019; Richmond premiership sides 2019, 2020; Gold Coast co-captain 2017-18.
Brownlow Medal: career votes 35.
Previous AFL club: Gold Coast (2011-18: 131 games, 254 goals).
Draft history: 2010 NAB AFL Draft 1st round selection (Gold Coast) No. 11; 2018 restricted free agent (Richmond).
