Mary was appointed to the Richmond Football Club board in October, 2022. 

Mary is an intellectual property and trade practices lawyer with over 40 years of experience and a current non-executive director of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and Aligned Leisure Pty Ltd.

She was previously Chair of Ashurst Australia and vice-chair of the global firm, Chair of the Burnet Institute and a non-executive director of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
